Alexa Dean-Banks

Since joining Green Goat Maps in 2022, Alexa serves as a GIS Project Manager, applying her background in Geographic Information Sciences to a variety of mapping initiatives. She specializes in GIS data management, ensuring spatial data is seamlessly integrated into user-friendly mapping products designed to meet client objectives and effectively serve their intended audiences.

Alexa oversees aquatic invasive species survey data, leads the development of the Online Maps for Land Trusts program, and coordinates custom mapping projects. She regularly works with Esri products, such as ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro, to process and organize spatial data effectively.

Living in Albany, NY, Alexa is dedicated to making maps that are both visually compelling and highly functional, helping people explore and understand the world around them. Outside of work, she likes to spend her time outdoors and exploring new places with her dog, Aya.
